No Time to Quit

Our family has been in a state of blessing and crisis over the past year. This is about the time that our estrangement...separation began and yet I sense and know that God has His hand on the situation. We have been encouraged by the prayers and support of so many and yet this year has brought about heartache, sorrow and despite that, the love is still evident. Maybe, like the Miami Heat tonight in Game 3 of the NBA Finals, we just need to keep playing...holding out hope, praying with conviction and trusting in the Plan of our Creator. Our son-in-law said it last week..."we just can't quit." We look to a brighter day, a family restored, lives transformed and an embrace of reconciliation. I pray for that moment, in Jesus' name.

MiKemple . . . I can appreciate your username. I will continue to remember you and your family in prayer. If you feel like it, call me sometime . . . I've got some scary and exciting news to share with you.

Mike!!

I found your blog through the links at jess and carrie's new blog! I think it's great you have one, but it sure makes me miss Kazoo and the whole gang when I see pictures, read news, etc.

Like I commented on Jess' blog, Aaron just said last night how much he still misses the Kazoo gang like you and jess and hammer and the fellowship that was there. You especially were someone Aaron felt he could trust with anything and looked up to so much. We thank God for the influence and encouragement you had on our lives.

love you man!
