My wife is amazing!
Thank you God for my wife, Patty. We just returned from our Saturday morning walk, and just sharing time with her reminded me how much I love her. This is an area that I too often take for granted and am feeling very convicted that it is primary in our Father's heart that we honor and love in our marriages. Watching our friends Josh & Shelly and seeing how Shelly's commitment and faith and Josh's love for her have grown in the past few years since we have known them is a great inspiration.
We could probably take many lessons from the folks in our communities that have withstood the trials and tests that this life and marriage can bring. I pray that we would seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and it would become quite clear what His intentions are for our families and our communities. Glory to the King of kings...Jesus, our bridegroom and strength.

So true once again Mike, I too have been feeling very convicted of this as of late, reading of Shelly's devotion and true love to Josh. It truly makes you evaluate how we treat our spouses when they are easy to take for granted. That we love them in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health. Words that are so easy to say but can we live them day in day out, in any situation? Only by daily praying and making that choice to seek God and His kingdom..I have really been making more of a concerted effort to tell and show Jeff daily how much I love and appreciate him! Still have many miles to go!
